Read Mark 12:28-34, Deut. 6:5, and Lev. 19:18 as a group.
Why does Jesus combine Deut. 6:5 and Lev. 19:18 together when answering the question, “Which commandment is the most important of all?”
What does it mean to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength? What does it mean to love your neighbor as yourself?
God values relationships. What distracts us from loving God and loving others?
Is our passion to follow rules keeping us from being compassionate to others?
How can we love others genuinely this week? And how can we remind ourselves that we need God’s power?
